Bhopal Library
December 3, 2004 marked the 20th anniversary of the world's worst industrial disaster. No one knows the precise number killed (estimates range from 2,000 to 10,000 in the disaster and 20,000 since then) or injured (at least 100,000 permanently disabled).
It was a truly catastrophic event. The heroic response of the people of Bhopal, India, innocent victims of a multinational corporation's gross negligence, is told, along with many other aspects of this tragedy, in the books in our 20th Anniversary Library listed below. Unless otherwise indicated, these books are available through The Apex Press.
All net proceeds from the sale of these books will be used to support the struggle for justice in Bhopal.
